We're one of "Kathy's Favorites" for 2018!

We're honored to have Half Moon Bay chosen as one of Kathy Parson's Favorite Albums of 2018. Thanks, Kathy! She wrote that my music "creates feelings of longing and nostalgia while reflecting on the warmth and beauty of past memories. I think I’ve turned into one big puddle, but it sure feels good!"

Half Moon Bay at #4 in September!!!

Half Moon Bay vaulted from #45 to #4 in only one month!

Half Moon Bay is our highest charting album ever! Two of my previous albums rose to #7, but only after 3 months of airplay each. A huge thanks to all our friends in radio for playing Half Moon Bay! Special thanks to my hard-working media promoter, Randall Davis of The Creative Service Company!

Most of all, thanks to my Lord Jesus for inspiring my music and opening doors for what I do. http://www.zonemusicreporter.com/charts/top100.asp

Half Moon Bay Debuts at #45 in August!

With only a few days of airplay in August, Half Moon Bay debuted on the ZMR (Zone Music Reporter) chart at a very respectable #45 (the upper half of the chart)! Technically, radio programmers only had the album for the last few days of August (not very long to play and report it). According to Randall Davis, my media promoter, some of the reports probably had to do with the programmers really loving the album in their September airplay. They were playing the music this month just as they were filling out their report lists for August and couldn't resist putting Half Moon Bay on their August report

First U.S. airplay for "Half Moon Bay!"

Rolling Stone & Half Moon Bay

They say timing is everything. In this case, thanks to Rolling Stone magazine for a bit of timely support!

The new issue of Rolling Stone features a list of the Beach Boys' best obscure songs. It includes 2 of the 3 Brian Wilson songs I recorded for "Half Moon Bay."

Rolling Stone specifically mentions "the beach-goth ballad 'Lonely Sea'." They also give Dennis Wilson's "Pacific Ocean Blue" (from which I titled my song "Ocean Blue") a nice plug. The piece ends with a list of ten more "great songs" not previously mentioned, including "Summer's Gone," the final song on "Half Moon Bay."
